Residenz Salzburg
The Residenz, a site of princely representation since centuries, was constructed by the Prince-Archbishop Wolf Dietrich von Raitenau in the 16th century, and is now owned by the state of Salzburg. Even Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart himself regularly made music for the regents in the grandiose rooms of the Residenz Salzburg. The violin concert KV 219 in A major was performed in the conference hall on the 20 December 1775.

Today, the Salzburg Residenz counts as one of the most precious historical buildings of Salzburg’s old town. From over 180 rooms and halls, the 15 rooms of Bel floor are used for representative reasons of the Salzburg state, and can be rented for ostentatious events of any kind.
